Spaghetti Sauce

1 lb. ground beef or tur­key
2 large cans of crushed toma­toes
1 can of tomato paste
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp ore­gano
1 ½ tsp salt
½ tsp pep­per
1 large onion,chopped
1 T olive oil

1 lb. box of pasta noodles

On medium heat, saute onion and gar­lic in olive oil in large pot. Cook onions and gar­lic until onions are ten­der. Brown ground beef with onions and gar­lic and then drain fat. Return meat and onions to pot and add cans of crushed toma­toes. Fill one of the large cans with water and add that to the sauce. Add can of tomato paste. Add sugar, ore­gano, and salt and pep­per. Let sim­mer on low heat for an hour. Serve over noodles.
