Scalloped Potatoes — oven

Oven temperature 350. Cooking time 1 hour.
1 lb lean ground beef or ham
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
4–5 medium or large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
3/4 cup cubed or graded sharp cheddar cheese
1 medium onion, diced (or 1/3 cup dried dehydrated onions)
Salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste
In a frying pan, cook hamburger and onion completely. Drain off excess fat from meat. Combine meat, onion, and remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Season to taste. Place mixture in a 9X13 pan. Cook uncovered.
