Scalloped Potatoes — oven

Oven tem­pe­ra­ture 350. Coo­king time 1 hour.

1 lb lean ground beef or ham
1 can Cream of Mush­room soup
4–5 medium or large pota­toes, pee­led and thinly sli­ced
3/4 cup cubed or gra­ded sharp ched­dar cheese
1 medium onion, diced (or 1/3 cup dried dehy­dra­ted onions)
Salt, pep­per, and gar­lic salt to taste

In a frying pan, cook ham­bur­ger and onion com­ple­tely. Drain off excess fat from meat. Com­bine meat, onion, and remai­ning ingre­dients in a large bowl. Sea­son to taste. Place mix­ture in a 9X13 pan. Cook uncovered.
