The time stamp
Last week when I was gone camping my father oh so nicely posted two articles I had written on my site. Both were time sensitive. The first was a letter to BC on his birthday. The second was the July 1st Blog Exchange. Which, by the way, was posted on the 2nd, due to my error. (I think that the lady who wrote the post is peeved about this as I’ve never received a reply to my profuse apology.) But I digress.
When I pre-wrote these posts I changed the post time stamp to the day I wanted it posted and then saved the document. My dad went to my site, and hit ‘publish’ on the appropriate date.
I’ve since found out, thanks to my technologically gifted older brother, that all I needed to do was write my post, edit the time stamp to the date and time I wanted it published and then hit ‘publish’. And Word Press would publish it for me.
Easy as that.
So I’ve been trying it. And it works! I write my posts at night, change the stamp so it will post in the morning and wa-la! It’s done.
This is a really long, round about way of telling you that I’ve written a few posts that should be published on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It will look like I’m here, but really I’ll be off playing hookie. Hehe, I feel so sneaky!
The family and I are heading to Family Camp near Yosemite from Wed-Sat and will be heading to my parents house for a few days after that, and then to a nice hotel resort as my dad puts on an institute.
In the meantime, keep those comments coming. I’ll check back in on Sunday. Enjoy my lineup for the rest of the week!

Isn’t that a great feature? I did that on my blog while I was gone this past week. I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving my little blogarden untended for so long so I set up some posts to go up in advance.
By the way, thanks for thinking I rock. That’s really cool of you!
