Too funny. Just know you are not alone. My recent saga is whenever I do something that Sam prefers to do himself, he says, "I'm sorry" which really translates into "Mom, say you're sorry. This is MY job." This ranges from pouring juice to getting in and out of the carseat. Tracy caught wind of it himself the other day and said, "Sam, you don't have anything to be sorry for." To which I nudged him and said, "No hun, he wants you to apologize to him for picking him up out of the Honda." Kids are so funny. Get some rest and have a beer. Actually, have two! One's for me!

Was your drink good? This has my mother-in-law written all over it! Boy did she change her tune when she watched my 3 yr old over a weekend instead of for a few hours at a time.

We Moms always get the short end of the stick. My son has a definite preference for my husband, which my husband loves to point out. Um, excuse me, but who deals with him and his behaviors for 10 hours a day? Who does most of the disciplining? Hmm, wonder why he likes my husband better!

Oh I hear your pain. My mother took MJ for a weekend in order to give hubby and I a chance to relax (it was heaven). When we took her back my mother spent hours telling me how well behaved MJ was and how she went to sleep with no problems at all (at home it is ALWAYS a fight), how she never cried, not even once, etc.

I'm glad my daughter had fun with her Nonna, but seriously, I could have smacked my mother. What did she want from me, "yes, mom. you're much better at this than I am." ugh.
