Day 2, Chickens
The chicks are getting lots of love from my darling children and the three chicks personalities are becoming much more apparent. Margot seems to be a bit more independent and less inclined to enjoy being manhandled by my not so delicate daughter. She is also the loudest of the three. Millie on the other hand, seems calm and doesn’t put up too much of a fit when being handled by the kiddos. Charlotte runs like the devil each time a child sized hand reaches in to catch her. But once caught, seems completely calm and well behaved.
After 24 hours of having the three chicks residing in our living room, my husband came home from work today bound and determined to finish the coop sooner rather than later. Major progress is being made!
Don’t be jealous. Our garage is always clean, no thanks to me!
Steve has lots of good helpers and with any luck, no one will loose an eye or toe in the process!
