…the Hubby gets a tattoo?? Seriously. When I left to San Diego his calf looked like this:

And now it looks like this:

That’s right folks, his third tattoo. One on his right shoulder, received just days after BC was born. One on his left shoulder, received just days after eClaire was born. And this one, received as we approach our fifth anniversary. This one is for me. As you can see, it is a scorpion and a coy fish. He’s a Scorpio and I’m a Pisces, hence the tattoo. I actually really like this one, and all the others. But I’m just hoping that this will be the last. We’ll see. He says no, but I say yes.
Update on the flight home:
I’m not really sure why I was so worried about the flight home. Both of my kids were absolutely fantastic! BC sat quietly and watched Cars for the (OK, I’m really embarrassed to say the actual number of times he’s see Cars, so we’ll just go with) 15th time while eClaire munched on a bag of popcorn sent by Nonnie. It was a very nice, calm trip home. How lucky am I!??!

Today we fly back home. BC woke up at 6:15 this morning. That’s better than 5:30, but still too early. My guess is he won’t get a nap before we go, but I’m crossing my fingers!
eClaire will most certainly miss her afternoon nap, so I’m expecting the worst on the plane.
It’s only an hour and 15 minute flight.

Last weeks goals were:1. Exercise (I’m bringing my gym shoe to San Diego. Hopefully Nonnie won’t mind watching the kids a few times this week!) Completed! I worked out twice this week.
2. Get my new blog site up and running. Before your eyes, Completed!
3. Survive both plane trips with a two year old and a one year old! I survived, barely, the first trip. Lord help me on the way back. Both kids will be without a nap. Yikes! Mission 1/2 complete.
This weeks goals are:
1. Exercise Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
2. Try two new recipes.
3. Reconnect with Hubby. Is a date pushing it? Maybe we can have a date-in. That could be more fun!
I’m overwhelmed by my kid’s behavior this week. They aren’t horrible, just not great. So I’m looking forward to getting to getting home, seeing Hubby again, and getting back into my old routine.
